Michael Harding Handmade Artists' Oil Colours paired with Handcrafted New Wave Artist Palettes.

Experience an artist’s paint and palette set of the highest caliber.  Using techniques which date back to the old masters, Michael Harding Handmade Artists Oil Colours are made in England.  The colours utilize the highest possible concentration of pigment content, and no fillers, producing a vibrant oil paint that is not only beautiful, but also durable and resistant to fading.  New Wave® artist palettes are made in a small Pennsylvania (USA) wood shop, and come pre-finished with a proprietary formula that is resistant to water, standard artist mediums & solvents, and easily cleaned.  Attention has been placed into every detail; from wood selection, to design, sanding, branding and finishing.  The sets provide any combination of one Michael Harding paint set and one New Wave artist palette outlined below.

STRADA New Wave P O S H ™

Meet the newest member of the family... The POSH table top palette CUSTOM made for the STRADA Easel.

Made of furniture grade maple wood, the palettes are hand sanded, then hand finished with our proprietary satin finish providing a nonporous surface that is ready for immediate use, resistant to standard artist solvents and mediums, and easily cleaned. These palettes are designed to be screwed securely within the easel, and are incredibly lightweight. The STRADA New Wave Palette is available with either a natural stain or neutral grey toned surface.

Few artists are held in such high esteem for their portrait and figurative works as John Singer Sargent.  Admirers of Sargent's work stands in awe of the magnificent fluidity with which he moved his brush, placing the paint in exactly the right spot.  It seems to have been done so effortlessly that you could easily believe that the paint might still be wet.  This year marks 90 years since Sargent's passing in 1925.  Personal items connected to him are rare and highly sought after; even his signed letters are increasing in price every year and much that once graced his studio work environment has slipped away.  But fortunately one of the Portrait Society's founding advisors Everett Raymond Kinstler owns the very item that most artists would desire from Sargent's Tite Street Studio, his arm palette.  With Kinstler's permission, an exact  museum quality reproductions of that palette from Sargent’s Tite Street studio in Chelsea, London was produced.  This palette is available exclusively through the Portrait Society of America.
